We are excited to share the news that the grand prize winners of the MyHeartMap Challenge have been announced. You can read all about it here.

If you are not familiar with the initiative read about it here.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for an estimated 325,000 deaths each year. To put that in perspective SCA kills 1,000 people a day or 1 every 2 minutes.

Are you prepared to handle a sudden cardiac arrest? Does your workplace have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)? Do you or your coworkers need to updated on your CPR? If it has been years since you took a class you may be pleasantly surprised with the changes that have simplified the process. Contact us today to join a class or have us come out to train a group at your organization (215) 886-9280 or jim@cardiaccareinc.com .

The collapse of Fabrice Muamba, the Bolton Wanderers player, during a recent FA-Cup quarter-final, has stunned both fans and fellow footballers. You can read about it here .

Muamba is a 23 year old extremely fit young man, the last person you would expect to drop of cardiac arrest. The good news is Muamba survived and is making a miraculous recovery! Muamba was in cardiac arrest for 78 minutes. During that time CPR was performed and he was shocked with a defibrillator 15 times! We tell our students in each class that every situation is unique with its own set of unique circumstances. Do the best you can for as long you can. There are stories of people beating the odds every day.

As is often the case following tragic events like this a panel is being formed to study cardiac arrest cases in soccer.

For most organizations the best preparation is regular training in CPR and First Aid and having an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) publicly accessible. If you would like to learn more please contact us 215-886-9280 or jim@cardiaccareinc.com.

Our YouTube channel is a great way to quickly learn about our company. There you will find our promotional video but you will also find a number of testimonials from a sampling of our customers.

Yet another great way to check us out is by visiting (and liking) our Facebook Fan Page. We try to update our page often with good information, news items and events we are planning.

In short, we are a safety training company. We provide the basics like CPR, AED and Basic First Aid training and sell and service the Zoll AED Plus. Routinely we hear from our students that our course was the best CPR or First Aid class they had ever taken. We have hundreds of stories from students that we have trained all over the region that have saved lives with the skills we taught them.

Training with us is fun and informative as well as time and cost efficient. Try us out and you’ll see what thousands of trained rescuers have already discovered about us. We are the best!
